    Setting visibility date of birth (XF 2.2.9 Cloud)

    I noticed that the view in the frontend shows the full date of birth. Actually, for privacy reasons, only the age (calculated from the year) should be displayed. In the settings, there is the year of birth displayed separately, but one does not exclude the other. I would like simply that the members of each other can see the age publicly (!)

    Is there a workable solution? Template I have also found none (work with the cloud version!)

    Resource Manager as a CMS?

    I'm looking at the Xenforo Resource Manager. Can the Xenforo Resource Manager be used as a CMS...to create a front-end/Home Page/Discovery Page for an internet forum...or is the Resource Manager strictly for other purposes?

    I went to Xenforo.com...then the pricing page...then clicked on the "Learn more..." link...then clicked on the "See an example" link.

    16:9 vertical images not displaying correctly in lightbox

    I have just uploaded a test video from my phone in 16:9 vertical size. If you click on the thumbnail image created in the main media page (latest media), the video is massive and does not resize to fit your browser when using my PC. but using a mobile phone it resizes fine.

    Bulk Activation Reminders

    Migrated to new server and Gmail spent about a month rejecting registration emails.

    Now the problem is rectified.

    However, I have an extreme amount of new users that were not able to complete the registration process and I would like to know how to bulk email everyone whose activation email bounced.

    Other than going user by user, is there a mod or crontask I can run to accomplish this?

    How to do two column forum style?

    I've seen some Xenforo forums that have two columns that show the different forum sections, see image below. How do you do this? Is it some theme you buy or is it achieved some other way?

    The reason I am asking this is to give some of my forum members a choice - if possible - between the standard layout and this two column layout.

    Posting Image in Comments

    Is there any way to add the ability to post images in the comments on the gallery? We have users that would like to do that besides having to post a URL to another site. We are still on 2.2.6 XFMG. I didnt see anything in the 2.3 release notes about this. Going to try and get the 2.3 upgrade done next month. Thanks

    Admin template mod not showing up in production?

    I've got an admin template mod - adding extra settings to a forum as in Let's build an add-on | Developer Documentation | XenForo - in an add-on and it works fine on my dev server but not on my production server.

    • I've used the same technique in a different add-on and that works fine on both servers
    • I've tried changing the find/replace text and the execution order so the values are different to the other add-on I wrote, but that also makes it work ok...

    Include content title in URLs: XenForo 2.3 removes multiplication sign unicode character "×" (U+00D7) instead of converting it to an "x" letter

    This is about the setting "Include content title in URLs": XenForo 2.2 turned the multiplication sign "×" (U+00D7) into an "x" letter. XenForo 2.3 removes them (the transliterator seems to convert them into an asterisk which then get removed). IMHO the behaviour of XenForo 2.2 made more sense and if it's easy to get it back then I'd be all for it.
