Ban filter bug?

An odd issue is occuring in the "banned emails" section. Not sure if this is already fixed in 2023, seems a bug to me.
I was trying to add a *.tk ban, but it didn't work.

So I used the filter and put in .tk but nothing was found. When I used only .t then *.top was the result.

Now this seems wrong, because after some further checking, the *.tk was already present since 2021.

Forum Icons missing plus post box icons missing after upgrade to 2.3

Upgraded to 2.3 over the weekend from 2.2. I had to do a manual FTP upgrade due to the one click upgrade not completing. I followed Xenforo's instructions.

After upgrading the forum (node) icons on the main page don't show, and also the icons in the posting box for text style, size, color, smiles, etc. don't show. I don't use any themes, just made some color changes. All worked good before the upgrade.

I have tried:
1. Disabling add ons.
2. Switching to default style.
3. Rebuilding...

Has anyone attempted a native app interface?

Now that we have 2.3 out, has anyone explored a native interface to XenForo? I am looking more and more into this, but wanted to see if anyone started exploring the OAuth route or using APIs (either XenForo built it or an abstracted layer of APIs) to connect to the important functions for XenForo.

I know some of the responses would be to just use the PWA, but I don't use XenForo for communities. I use it as the base to build web apps.

Anyways, any feedback would be appreciated.

Add follower, newsfeed

So, I click on News-Feed - a strange name, by the way, because actually, "latest activity" should be the news-feed, meaning the newsfeed of all users; and the current newsfeed should be called "newsfeed of followed users." But alright.

So, I click on newsfeed and it says I should follow people. What does "follow" mean, how do I do that, how do I make it happen?

Out the box XenForo checks Username, Email and IP address against the SFS database.

This isn't ideal as (IMHO) a username isn't really that unique.

This add-on lets you choose which flags are used for the moderate and reject warning flag count.

I personally just check Email and IP - which means I can moderate registrations with 1 flag...

I prefer to completely disable these features because I find the confusion unbearable and unacceptable for users. It’s almost like Facebook - you click around endlessly until you might eventually end up where you want to be. Or you just stick to the two or three things you're sure won't suddenly take you somewhere else.

Adsense ad appears with white background in dark mode

As you can see in the attached images, the same Adsense ad appears with a white background in dark mode while in system mode it appears with a transparent background, as it should be.
I don't know if it's a XenForo bug or it's really an Adsense bug, but I comment it anyway in case it can be fixed.

How do you handle high bounce rates?

We are sending out newsletters every week and there is a high amount of bounce rate (around 20%). We need to find a proper solution to this, and we also started manually disabling the user's email preferences. But that takes a lot of time. Have any of you faced the same issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Note: we do not have any IMAP or POP3 server right now, but if that is the solution, let be it. Please help me with the problem. Thank you
