10,000s of daily requests to "forum/login/keep-alive"

- - [26/Jan/2024:07:03:51 -0500] "POST /forum/login/keep-alive HTTP/2.0" 200 175

I am getting these every 1-2 seconds. I've never seen this before so am wondering if anyone knows what this might be. The IP in the logs is different for each request. It is skewing my webstats by saying /forum/login/keep-alive in getting 100,000s of visits. Any ideas? Thanks!

Resource Discussion Thread

There’s obviously a way in the options of creating an automatic discussion thread for each Resource that you create, but is there a way of generating a linked thread for a resource that’s already existing?

We have a lot of resources that we didn’t create threads for, but have now realised it was a bad decision and we’d like to give people the option of discussing the contents of a resource that links to a thread.

Xenforo and Ionos Germany

For a long time, a managed server from Ionos, formerly known as 1&1, was sufficient to run a medium-sized forum. Unfortunately, it seems that Ionos wants to get rid of its server customers, as the problems have been piling up. First, a few weeks ago, they were unable to properly send emails, and instead of just shutting down one server, they took down all websites associated with the customer account under that provider.

Email bounces for a user pending email validation aren't processed

If a user registers with an invalid email address the automatic bounce handler will never process their email if it bounces. Not sure if this behavior is desired, but if their validation email bounces I can't see any reason against marking their account as bounced and forcing them to change their email rather than allowing them to keep requesting it be resent without realizing their email address was entered incorrectly

I have a statistics plugin, this plugin displays the latest published topics at the top of the homepage.
In the statistics plugin, there is confusion because the subcategories under the main category do not show which main category they are from.
To solve this, I want to be able to assign colors to the words of the subcategories.
I will write a short word to the left of the subcategory name and the color will not be dark so that it can be understood which parent...

Custom style property color value issues

Issue no 1:
Creating a custom style property color value and using the picker the first time, doesn't update the box that shows the color picked on the right side of the input field. If you select a predefined color, it shows and the picker works after.

Issue no 2:
Using the "Reset" button doesn't work.

Missing Resource Manager add-on causing issues after cloud import

So I recently took my XF forum off the cloud and put it on a self-hosted instance. The cloud version came with all the XF add-ons, but I never used the Resource Manager so I didn't buy it when I transferred off the cloud.

Now the lack of the resource manager is causing errors to pop up. For example, when I manually rebuild cron entries:

Обновление совместимости с XenForo 2.2.16.
Функциональных изменений нет.

Для тех, кто использует дополнение, будьте осторожны при обновлении до PHP 8.2 - original sape.php выдает предупреждение об устаревании из-за использования необъявленных свойств в классах:
класс SAPE_client расширяет SAPE_base
