Sub Forums & Threads

Is is possible to have a category or Forum, with sub forums, but show all threads...

I.e
Category or Forum
Sub1
Sub2
Sub3

Show all threads including subforums? (when clicking on the upper category or forum)

At present is just show the sub forums, and any threads posted direct in the forums, but not sub forums.

Not all bots are being detected

XF\Data\Robot::getRobotUserAgents() detects 35 bots only.

This function should be replaced with CrawlerDetect or similar library, which detects 1,000's of bots/spiders/crawlers:

Xenforo does not send Email

Hi,

It seems that the Emails are not being sent from my forum.
Any idea why? It is my own Email, so it exists...

Search: Changing default from Everywhere to forum/category

Hi there - does someone know how to change ( which template )the default of the search and the order of option? It makes way more sense to default search to "category" if the user is already in category, and then next "threads" and then "everywhere .


So basically changing the default and then reverse the order of option. Thank you for any help

I'm new to Xenforo and to PWAs. I recently set up my forum and I'm trying to enable PWAs. I followed the instructions in the manual and my page shows "Your board meets the requirements to be an installable progressive web app.". I was able to install the PWA on my iPhone running ios17.6.1. I'm able to launch and use the PWA on my phone. However I'm not getting notifications. I don't have much experience with latest forums software but i'm catching up quick, have not used anything since VB.

Could i get to achieve something with Xenforo like the below example, is that community on IPB or XenForo, any way i would prefer XenForo but i can't seem to grasp with what addons i can get this outcome, anyone able to pint out the obvious, main things for me are: Article/Blog, Directory, Forum, membership plans, Digital store, Landing Page as they have with blocks...

traffic drop - can't really explain why

In March 2024, I experienced a substantial decrease in website traffic (see screenshot). The number of users hasn't really changed, but the page views have dropped from 1.2 million per month to 250,000. I haven't made any significant changes, and I'm struggling to figure out the reason behind this drop. So far, I haven't been able to understand why.

Any good soul able to help me out?

in the ACP I got a note saying: "There are manual rebuild jobs awaiting completion. Continue running them"

but when I click to run it I get the following error..

gif to webp optimization problems

I'm on php8.2 and have chosen the Imagemagick PECL extension (Imagick compiled with ImageMagick 6.9.11-60 Q16 x86_64 2021-01-25 ImageMagick – Mastering Digital Image Alchemy)

I ran the CLI image optimization and got rid of some GBytes.

When I look for the biggest files there are still a lot of animated gifs there, I thought they would have been converted to webp animation?
