New FA code title

With the old FA icons I was able to add a text overlay something like <xf:fa icon="fa fa-bars" aria-hidden="true" title="menu"/> but with the new {xf:fa-bars} I can't and a rollover text. Any ideas how I can achieve this? It's for navigation buttons.
