Is there an add-on for an option to display a snippet of 5 of the recent posts under each thread in the thread list?

It could be as a full width widget.

We're looking for a way to display 5 of the recent posts of each thread- under each thread on the Whats new page (or other thread lists too).
Apparently we need a getter for that (there are the FirstPost and LastPost getters to display the last/first posts but we'd like to display the recent 5 posts).

It gives a more modern feel to the list of threads (similar to Facebooks' approach).
