How can you let unregistered users see their own threads

Hello there! I have an application only forum setup, and wanted to ask how I could let visitors (who can post threads) see their own thread in the application area. The application area has it disabled that people can see other threads. Is there a plugin or is that natively supported? Thanks in advance!
