Home page tabs and navigation

Hi, I am a newbie in forum land and am in the process of starting a new forum.

I like to ask how to set up the tabs at the top of the forum home page?

Home - Forum - What's new - Members etc

Which I can add more later as we grow and expand?

Thank you so much for your help.

This is all a big project for me and I have not much forum back ground and knowledge so sorry for the stupid questions
