BB Code Media Site changes {$id}: https://www to https%3A%2F%2Fwww

I enter this in a post:
My _media_site_embed is <script>... {$id} ... </script>

xenForo however changes it to <script> ... https%3A%2F%2Fwww.domain.com ... </script>
Expected is <script> ... https://www.domain.com ... </script>
