Could i achieve this?

Hi All,

I don't have much experience with latest forums software but i'm catching up quick, have not used anything since VB.

Could i get to achieve something with Xenforo like the below example, is that community on IPB or XenForo, any way i would prefer XenForo but i can't seem to grasp with what addons i can get this outcome, anyone able to pint out the obvious, main things for me are: Article/Blog, Directory, Forum, membership plans, Digital store, Landing Page as they have with blocks...

Stuck on Processing on anything when upgrading to 2.3.4

I disabled the addons, then uploaded the addon updates, but something has gone wrong somewhere.

No matter what I do, whether it's updating an addon with the upgrade button or even XFMedia Gallery, it is just stuck on "Processing" or "Upgrading" and then nothing happens.

I have tried everything I can think of to fix this but essentially I have had to take the forum offline until I can fix this. Any help would be much appreciated.

If I dIsable all addons and use the default theme the forum...

Is there a list of Block friendly widgets for a Portal?

Is there somewhere a list of Block friendly widgets?
That could be used on a portal page?

I am having trouble locating widgets that I can control the amount of data from.

Widget New threads: for example shows the whole thread in a block not only an intro. I have not found a way to control that other than with the Spoiler

I am looking for al sorts of widgets that change with the added contend images and text both from forum and media gallery..

How to save additional data to a Post

I'm trying to add a checkbox to posts that allows users to toggle a change to the way the post is presented in a thread.

I've successfully added a column to the xf_post table. I have a listener that exposes the data to the post, and I'm able to both show a checkbox in the post_edit template populated with the right value and add a css class in post_macros where I need it. I manually flagged some posts in the database to test it out and these parts work great.

When using the Admin control panel, I often find that I can't find a specific options because they have been hidden by this function:

Edit: Please note that I'm referring to when I look at an options page (example Basic options) I'm used to seeing basic options and when I don't see them I wonder if I'm in the wrong option area. I don't think about this "Enable advaced mode" removing option in the middle of the page. A properly done...

Create one or more posts ahead of time to be automatically submitted later.

For example, type the post and get it formatted nicely and then wait for the "press release day" for it to be submitted. News/media/entertainment industries get information but are not allowed to be released until later on (days, weeks, etc.). Even useful for forum announcements.
