Hello everyone,

I would like to know if it's possible to create few identities and to be shown like the image:
identities.webp

For example i want to add Telegram.
The user will be adding his username only. The identity will be shown off as an icon and when someone will click on it a new tab will open of t.me/username
For other identities a simple copy/paste will be fine so when someone will click on the identity icon the contact details let's say BCHAT address will be copied.

Style Variation Button Second Click Behavior

On the first click, the dropdown menu appears as expected, allowing users to choose between light and dark style variations.
However, on the second click, instead of closing the dropdown menu, it redirects me to the Style Variation Change page.
This behavior might be confusing from a user experience perspective, as I would expect the second click to close the menu. Is this behavior intentional or a bug?

Reddit style node

I'm currently getting a quote to have a Reddit style node type developed. If you'd like to throw in a suggestion on how it should work please do. Being a node type it could be a standalone or nested in a category. The thread view will be collapsed until the title is clicked and it will expand to allow comments. Sort of like this image.

Highlighted code not retained in code modal

Searched and haven't found reported elsewhere...

If you paste some code into the message body, highlight it and select the "Code" BBCode (the full one not the inline one), it used to retain the code you'd highlighted, however now says "undefined". This seems to have only recently broken.

Blurry thumbnails after migrating from vBulletin

We recently migrated a vBulletin 4 to XenForo 2.3 and afterwards got some complaints from users that thumbnails are blurry / unsharp (image optimization is not yet turend on).
Compairing thumbnail images between vBulletin and XenForo this indeed seems to be true.

Stepping through the code it looks like vBulletin always applied an unsharp mask on generated thumbnails, XenForo does not do that even though it has a unsharpMask() method but apparently only XFMG uses unsharpMask()...

Dear Team,

kindly advice, I installed the following plugin ( Resource Manager (XFRM) 2.3.4 ) and upload around 10 files.

If I delete the add-on ( Resource Manager (XFRM) 2.3.4 ), will all the files that were uploaded be deleted form internal_data automatically or do I need to delete it manually??

Ooops!: Invalid cost amount. PayPal may be erroneously adding additional shipping and handling charges

I got about 20 of these over the course of a couple of hours. Can anyone tell me what is causing it? (PayPal haven't been able to...yet)

Doesn't seem to be related to fixed bugs re: this message as I have no shipping charges set up on PayPal. It's for an upgrade subscription anyway.

Medical issues are hitting me hard and I have not had time to participate much on my site much less anywhere else. We (my doctors and I) still have not decided on my losing my legs from the knees down or not is a viable alternative.

Splitting a thread FROM a post?

Is there a method/addon to split a thread FROM a post?

The example scenario being I have a 5,000 page thread, and I want to split it off into a new thread for all posts after post #3,500? Obviously it would be almost impossible to use inline moderation and select 1,500 posts to effect the split.

Perhaps from the DB? Something like create the new thread, then update thread_id for all posts belonging to the current thread where post_id > xxx, and then rebuild threads.

How to give users a limited 'sneak peek' at content

Is there a way to set up forums so that a member of a 'lower rank' group can see the title of a thread and maybe even the first few lines, but the rest is greyed out and followed by a message that to view this content a member must be of a 'higher rank'? Some news websites have something like this for content, eg Bloomberg, so I was thinking the same approach on a forum might 'hint' at the extra content as a incentive for members to upgrade to a tier where they can view all of that content...
