phpstorm IDE: configuration suggestions for xF2

Hello all! :)

I recently switched to phpstorm v2024.3 for first time. This is a great and very pro IDE.

I need your suggestions to make it work as more productive with xF2 development.

For example: initially I added to File > New Projects Setup > Settings for New Projects > Languages and Frameworks > PHP > Include path > I added c:/xampp/htdocs/{myxf2devboard}/src.

Another tip: On right click menu on a file > Reformat code, I unchecked "Optimize Imports" and "Cleanup code". I...

Option to pin ressources / sticky resources

With forum threads there is the option to pin them and this way to create sticky theads, that are always on top and prominently visible within a forum and there are good reasons for that. For resources the reasons for wanting to pin one or more of tham are basically the same - but there is no option in RM to pin ressources.

I would like to have the option to pin / make sticky resources within a given resource category. Straight simple.

What determines whether a link will generate a preview or stay a link?

My forum relies on sharing news and often links to news sites that sometimes generates a preview of the story:

www.newsweek.com

Lloyd Austin leaving Biden in dark over hospitalization raises questions ​

The president and several other senior government officials were unaware that the secretary of defense had been admitted to hospital.

But often, it won't generate a preview like below:

What determines if a preview will generate? I thought perhaps it was a paywall but it's not that.

Signature Size Limits still work in 2.3?

Hey there, I used the tips in this older thread to great effect back in 2.2 - but I just upgraded to 2.3 and I think it no longer works?

XF 2.0 - Add limit to signature image size

I'm trying to use the exact same text block from before (I had saved it)... I have just upgraded my board to 2.3, purchased the latest version of Blackened Pro theme, and am using this extra.less setting, but signatures seem unaffected.

Oh man, completely borked my site trying to do an upgrade (by accident) :( Can anyone help?

So I was running version ummm.... 2.2 something. I saw that there was a version 2.3.

Like an idiot I just went clicking through to do the upgrade... but I actually didn't mean to trigger it, just to see if it was even possible via admin console.

At the point where it gave me the warning "This is a major upgrade, please do a backup first" with a continue button, I of course chickened out. Certainly felt like the wording indicated I could still validly chicken out and do a backup first...
