OpenGraph Image per post

There seem to be a few OpenGraph image add-ons that set the first attachment or image inserted as the OpenGraph image. However, this is only the first post. It would be neat to have an add-on that would do the same thing if linked directly to a post, and that post has an image or attachment.

Does anything like this exist?

Removing the footer link bar

I have migrated the links in the footer to be located in extra copyright field, but I wish to hide the element or bar in the footer that contains the style picker and site links to the right.

I know I can use it extra.less template but I cannot figure out the variables.

Better SEO in posts and threads

There shouldn't be a prefix included in seo title for posts.

The meta description should be a clean composition of text, so the first calculated paragraph or portion of a thread, without anything prefixing it.

This isn't just for google, it's for users who search. Even if you rank number one, it's not a good look and can be confusing otherwise.

Also. There should be recognition of an article thread vs a normal thread. I think an article thread needs tiny changes for seo, as it is...

Custom Field Permissions & Edit History

I'm re-posting this suggestion by @Alpha1, as we're a few years down the road and it seems a lot more people are using custom fields. I've spoke with several developers who don't want to incorporate a feature like this into their addons until it's part of the XF core (most were expecting it in 2.2). These features would be huge for increasing the usability of custom fields to customize XenForo in ways we need it to be. Hopefully it'll get some traction now.

Search & Filter Custom fields

I would like to be able to search custom fields and also to be able to filter on custom fields.
There are a lot of situations where this would be very handy. In some cases it would allow us to merge forums and just use custom fields instead.

For example: in the bug reports forums here there is a custom field for XF version.
It would be handy if you could search or filter for all bugs for a specific version.

Additionally: it could be taken a step further and make the custom field hotlinked...

Unreadable text after copy-pasting post

Steps to reproduce
  1. While the active style variation is set to Light go to https://xenforo.com/community/threads/table-copy-test.227239/ using Chrome
  2. Copy the the post betweet Start Copy Table and End Copy Table
  3. Paste that into the editor and submit it a new reply to the thread
  4. Switch active variation to dark
Expected Result
The text within the original table as well as the table created by the new reply can be read just fine

Does anyone know how the "active user" statistics in the forum ACP is calculated?

Also trying to understand the user 'search' in ACP -" search for user" >Last visited between. Say an account USER visited the forum on 1 June and 1 Jul.

If search for user" >Last visited between is set between 1Jun and 5Jun, is USER returned in the search? Since the Last visit is 1 Jul.

New “What’s New” Layout

Why not make a new “What’s New” layout, at least available as an option, where instead of simply scrolling through topic TITLES, actually seeing a few lines of the first post - with the ability to “see more”, see comments, and reply - without leaving the “What’s New” page?

Facebook works this way because it draws people in to either react (like, etc) or comment. They have spent a lot of time and money on researching what gets people motivated to add DATA to their system.

Accidentally posted private info in a DM

Did this on a xenforo forum, I can tell the name in PMs

I accidentally posted private info, and realized quickly (in a couple minutes or so)

This was all in a PM, btw

It was in the form of an image, I edited the message and deleted the attachment of the image

I later deleted the PM, both me and the other guy left

Should this hard delete the info provided? Would anyone be able to access it?
