Zero notifications from a node

On one of my sites the Mod's private forum has stopped sending out any type of notifications. No Alerts, emails, push notifications ...
  • The node's 'Forum watch notification limit' is set to 'New messages'.
  • Analyzing the Mod's permissions on the node shows correct permissions.
  • We do visit the node often enough to keep them live.
  • Mods get notifications on other nodes/msgs.

What am I not checking?

Also it might be a good idea to whitelist their search engine user agent and IP ranges so Cloudflare's aggressive bot blocking/AI scraper and crawler features don't accidentally block it.

Twitter (X) no longer auto embedding?

Just wondering what I am missing here. I was using S9 media sites for my media, but uninstalled it this morning and removed the files. Then I rebuilt the caches for embeds. But when I copy and paste a link from Twitter it only shows the link and no longer auto embeds (I did check auto embeds under the admin and it is enabled). But when I make a test post on Xenforo's test forum it works just fine. What am I missing here?

Link to new style variations in Notice

Hi,

Do you know if it’s possible to provide a link inside a Note to go to a new ‘Dark’ variation?

I have the old ‘dark’ style as a sub-style of the default style. I have made the default style ‘enable variations’ in 2.3 and got it looking good as the new ‘Light’ and ‘Dark’ variations. I thought if I could add a link to go to the new ‘Dark’ variation it might tempt a few people to use it.

Unfurl - domain exceptions (blacklist)

I enjoy the XF unfurl feature for the most part. External links usually look nice in posts when it works. External links look fine (raw URL) when it doesn't.

However, there is one domain that vexes me terribly - msn.com. All links to news items on msn.com "unfurl" to a simple link with "MSN" as the anchor text. Those links look horrible in the forum and are less informative than having the actual URL displayed.

Variable to get total forums in a category?

Good morning everyone,

Is there a variable I can use in templates to return the total of forums in a category? That doesn't include subforums of course just main forums.
I am thinking to create a category specifically for our game servers which should return total servers (total forums in that category) and total active players or currently online (I can do this using javascript).
