Email errors I could use some assistance with. No email is being sent.

We are using the forums internally (intranet) running on a Windows server/ AD Domain. Unfortunately, I don't have access any servers outside of the one XenForo in running on. I can however have the infrastructure team update/or correct the issue if I know where to make the change. I'm fine with using anyone option SMTP/PHP.

I have an OS cron job that takes a backup of my XF database every day. This has worked flawlessly from the beginning.

However, today the cron job ran into an error which has made me concerned:

This seems to imply that the table definition was changed while the backup was running. I believe this could be caused by either an "ALTER TABLE" or a "TRUNCATE" SQL...

Use WHM/cPanel chkserv with elasticsearch

Anyone using WHM/cPanel can use the chkserv monitoring service for detecting if elasticsearch is not running and restarting it for you. Here is how I do it. I'm using AlmaLinux 8 and Elasticsearch v8.16. Probably the same for Rocky Linux too.

After you install or upgrade elasticsearch, make sure it is enabled as a service. This makes sure elasticsearch will start anytime you manually reboot your server.

Anytime I have a question someone is there to give me a concise answer that almost always solves my problems. about us on horizontaal postbit of article thread types

Hi, I am just aware of this. And this is same here in official site. If thread is defined as article, postbit is horizontal and about us section of forum showing in this horizontal postbit. There is no about us on vertical postbits. This is terrible especially if users have a long about us section. I couldn't find any option to hide about us on horizontal postbit. Is this something might be developers miss?

I've been contacted twice recently via PM asking me how I added a custom Group Badge to the user info as seen on my website:
